Radio wave

 Radio wave  is an electromagnetic wave of a frequency between about  104 and 1011 or 1012 Hz , as used for long distance communication.They have the longest  wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. Radio waves are a type of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum longer than infrared light. Radio waves have frequencies as high as 300 gigahertz to as low as 30 hertz. At 300 GHz, the corresponding wavelength is 1 mm; at 30 Hz the corresponding wavelength is 10,000 km.

Uses/Functions of radio wave

i)They are used in radio and television communication systems.

ii)For navigation of ships and aircraft the radio range,compass and time signals are widely used.

iii)By measuring the time required for the waves to bounce off the object and return to a receiving antenna,the location of the object can be found.

Facts of Radio waves

i)Wireless radio was discovered by German inventor,Heinrich Hertz,in 1800s.

ii)An Italian inventor,Guglielmo Marconi,is known as the"Father of Radio" because he made         practical and useable radio sets based on the Hertz discovery.

iii)Radio waves travel at the speed of  light 186,282 miles per second.

Advantages & Disadvantages of Online Education

 Advantages of Online Education are:

i)It is less expensive than regular school.

ii)Attendance is easy for teachers.

iii)The homeworks and tests of students are easily recorded.

iv)Students can ask their problems with their teacher any time on platforms like facebook and Instagram.

v)Through online education you will learn may things about your smartphone or PCs.


Disadvantages of Online Educations are:

i)There can be problems of electricity in many areas.

ii)Some of the students in village area may not have internet access.

iii)Students may copy paste homeworks from their friends.

iv)Its is not as efficient as learning face to face in classrooms.

v)There may not be enough time as classrooms on school.

Teej

                                                             TEEJ

Teej is the generic name for a number of Hindu festivals that are celebrated by women in Nepal and many parts of  India(mainly in North and Central India).This is celebrated primarily by girls and women,with songs,dancing and prayer rituals.

Teej refers to the third day that falls every month after the new moon(amavasya),and the third day after the full moon night of every month.The festivals,observed particularly in Nepal and western and northern states of India. Hartalika Teej also known as "Nepal Women's Festival"and"Women's Wishing Festival" The events would last for three days,including enjoying a grand feast,observing a rigid fasting,praying to lord shiva,bathing in the holy river,presenting traditional performances,etc.Nepali Women's Day is generally referred to the second day of Teej Festival.

Nepali Teej Festival is the first grand festival coming at the end of the rainy season. At that time, the sky is clear and sunshine is cozy. You'll see Nepali Hindu females singing and dancing at the streets and temples to celebrate the arrival of Teej Festival. Unmarried girls look forward to a good marriage in the future, and married women pray for the long and healthy life of their husbands. As time goes by, non-Hindus and foreign travelers can also participate in the hilarious festival. Besides, if visiting Nepal from August to September, you are likely to experience another two big festivals, namely, Gai Jatra and Nepal Kumari Festival.

My tour experience (2020)

Hello I am Sohendra rana magar.A student of Jagat mandir school.As you may know year 2020 is a big year for nepal.It is the year of visit nepal.So, as the tradition of our school our school took us for educational tour.This was the routine and schedule of the tour.

  • 1st Day: Kathmandu to Sauraha(Sauraha night stay)
  • 2nd Day: Sauraha to Ghandruck(Night stay at Ghandruck)
  • 3rd Day: Ghandruck to Pokhara (Night stay at Pokhara)
  • 4th Day: Pokhara visiting and night stay at Bandipur)
  • 5th Day: Back to Kathmandu (Observing Siddha Gufa on the way)
                        (DAY 1)  Kathmandu to Sauraha
The first day went like this.Before the day of tour we were told to arrive near school at 5:30 am.So at kept the alarm at  4:30am to get ready.I had already packed my back before night.I washed my face brushed my teeth and wore my clothes and got ready.I called my friend to gather near my house to go togetherr.Aadesh and om were with me.We went to the place where our school bus was parked.We loaded the bag and sat on the seat.We waited for our friends to arrive.We were total of 30 students.The bus started moving at 6 am.We were feeling very sleepy because we woke up early.It was very cold and foggy on the road.We crossed Maleku  at 8:30 am.We were provided donuts for breakfast.We played songs and danced also.Travelling with friends in a bus was very fun.At 10:40 we reached Muglin following to Kurintar at 10:30 am.The we entered Chitwan.We reached Ramnagar at 11:45 where we had our morning meal.Then we straightly went to Thakali resort.We rested for 10 minutes and we went to chitwan national park.We saw many birds,deers,crocodile.We also went to elephant  breeding center.We returned to our resort at aroud 5pm.We were hungry so we were served  with tasty lunch.We took many photos.Then our one of the sir (Deepak sir) divided us into groups to sleep in a room.My group and me and 4 others.The room was very nice and clean.Then we went to see Tharu culture.Its was a show of tharu's cultural dance and music it was very interesting for me.Then we went back to our resort and had dinner.We did campfire till 10 or 10:30 then went to our room and slept.

                        (DAY 2) Sauraha to Ghandruck
 Second day we wake up at 5 am.We brushed our teeth and got ready to move.We departed from resort at 6 am.We woke up early so we slept in bus.We had our breakfast in bus.We entered Pokhara by 11:05 am.We had our meal by 11:40 am at lvn lnn hotel.The food was very tasty.We rest for around half an hour.Then we left for Ghandruck by 12:20 pm.We danced and sang on the bus.The scenery was awesome.We saw the snow-capped hills and Mt.Machhapuchhre lying in Annapurna Range.We had noodles for lunch in nearby restaurant at Kimche bus station.Then we moved for hike to Ghandruck by 5:20 pm.After half an hour of hike we reached the hotel Rodhee.We We got proper hospitality and well facilitated room over there.It was very cold.Around 8 we had our meal nad did campfire.We sang and danced.We played Antakshari.Then we went to sleep.

                        (DAY 3)Ghandruck to Pokhara
Third day was the most busy day.We woke up at 5:30 am and got ready to visit the Ghandruck by 6:30 am.We saw the incredible view of Annapurna Range.Then we returned to hotel and had our snacks.We departed from hotel by 8:10.We crossed the Birethanti Pul and reached the Nayapul by 11:00 am.At 1pm we reached the hotel lvy lnn.We had our meal.Then we left for visiting Pokhara by 1:40 pm. At 2:10 we reached Fewa Lake.There we did boating and visitwd Taal Barahi Temple.There was a sad news also.I lost my phone on the lake.I was having fun while boating and didn't noticed the phone.But every other thing was good.By 2:50 pm we returned from Fewa Lke and moved towards David's Fall.We clicked a lot of photos.We observed the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave.The cave was very cool.By 4 pm we left for Shanti Stupa.We were not allowed to make noise there.We clicked  photos.On the way we had our lunch as chaat at nearby restaurant.My friend Anmol bought lollipop for whole the class.At 6:30 we started night walk at lake side.Our teacher had planned a suprise for us.They gave us Pizza party it was tasty.We had our dinner at 9pm.We had our campfire at 9:30.I did not dance but my friends danced and sang.Then at 10:30 we slept at our room.

                         (DAY 4)Pokhara to Bandipur
This day also we woke up early at 5 am.By 6:35 we reached the Sarangkot.We went their to see the sun rise but we didn't saw it clearly because of bad clouds .By 7:10 we returned back from Sarangkot where the bus was waiting us.Then we left for Bindabasini Temple by 7:25 am.We reached there by 7:45.We visited all arounnd the temples and took photos..We had our snacks at the Shakhari Bhojanalya near to the temple.Then we left for visiting Mahendra Cave by 8:50.We  entered the Mahendra Cave at 9:05am.We enjoyed a lot and had good experience of cave.Then we went to bat cave by 9:40.It was really difficult to move inside the cave.We saw many bats.We returned to bus and went to observe the seti River.By 11:25 we had our meal.We rested for some time and departed from hotel and moved towards the international mountain museum.We observed the cultures,lifestyle and customs of different castes.We left for Bandipur by 1:50 after returning from the museum.We reached Bandipur at around 5:15 pm.The local people welcomed us with tika and flower.They too gave us a cup of tea.It was home stay in Bandipur.So,we were divided into groups and sent in separate houses.We also went for walk to Bandipur Bazaar.The people of the house where we were staying was very polite and loving.We had our dinner at 7:30 and got gathered at Rodhi ghar.There we played dhori and Antaskshiri with another school.The name of that school was Sew Sadan School.The people of that place danced and sang for us.It was very fun.After that we went to our houses to sleep.

                           (DAY 5)Bandipur to Kathmandu
At final day also we woke up early in the morning.We went for a hike to see sun rise.We took many photos.The way was full of stairs.We were tired.Then,we returned back to have breakfast.We had kodo ko Roti,Bodi and cup of tea.While we were leaving Bandipur local people again put tika and gave flower to show their respect for us.We really enjoined that moment.We left Bandipur by 8:50 am.Then we went to siddha cave.We were very excited to visit there because our sir told it was the Asia's largest cave.One guider showed us the way inside the cave.The cave was very big.We lest the cave at 11 am.We reached Siddha Cave Restaurant where we ate our meal.Then we moved for kathmandu by 12 am.At 2 pm we reached Malekhu where we had fish and potato chop.It was very fun at bus.At 6:30 we arrived at school.We got our bag and went back home.
